Is anyone here going for this ride? I am seriously thinking of joining. Its got a 50km route, starting from Nth Sydney and ending at the Olympic park. Seems like a nice ride.

i generally join in every year.. and try to get some non-cycling friends to come along
it is not a demanding ride, more like a fun ride you could pretty much go flat-stick all the way and have no probs finishing to make it interesting, i might ride to the start as opposed to catching a train

I might catch the train there as opposed to getting my wife to drive me there. Whats the policy on bringing a bicycle on the train? Would also appreciate some practical tips, eg should I wear normal shoes, and bring the cycling shoes in a bag? Should I bring a backpack, or just travel light? I dont really fancy walking around in road shoes. Thanks in advance. |

Any more entries?
Too wussy for ppl here? I know you can do that distance for free, but it is to join in on the festivity of the occasion. I suppose it is a bit like the city to surf for cyclists I got a few friends going...
