Does anyone who has this bike have any advice for changing the brake pads? It comes with Shimano BRM-465 mechanical disc brakes and the pads are held in with a pin.
It looks like you have to remove the brake cable to be able to remove the pin and change the pads, is this correct? I have googled these brakes and it doesn't produce a lot of info, I emailed Shimano and got the part number for the pads (Y8C998010) does anyone know if there is any ohter pads that fit other than the shimano ones? Thanks |
