I just bought a new Giant NRS 2 Carbon and absolutely love it! However, it came stock with Hayes Sole hydraulic disc brakes and I don't like them. They are a single piston caliper and they seem weak and flimsy. I had the Hayes HFX-9 on my old bike and they were better, but not 'the bomb'.
So, I want to upgrade and am looking at either the Avid Juicy 7 or the Hayes HFX-Mag or Mag Plus. Any advice from anyone who has tried either or both of they disc brakes? Thanks! |
