Default Bent crankset

Well today i ran in a bit of trouble. I was taking a dirt jump and landed in a way that my crank got dented. Only the largest ring got damaged. I was wondering if i could remove the damaged ring and keep the remaining two. I have a Tru Vativ Five D 42/32/22. Thx

I was looking at a picture of that crank set on the net and it looks like it would mess up the way your crank arms are put together if you take it apart.

But I do have another thought. Could you take that largest ring off and put it in a vice or beating it back into shape with a hammer so it would work again?

Hope that helps.
