I have the PT Pro and noticed that my cadence goes higher even when i apply a little force [ie. If im at 85 rpm and want to goe higher the PT some times reads 105 and I know my rpms arent that high] Iknow this because i have a Cateye comp still on my bike and it tells me im at 90 rpms not105. I also counted my rpms and they come up the same as the cat eye. The PT and CATEYE DO READ THE SAME when i pedal steady . I also removed the Cateye and its magnet but keep getting high numbers on the PT. I keep the PT on Heart rate while im riding and usethe cateye for current RPM. AT THE END OF MY RIDE I USE THE pt AVG CADENCE because my Cateye doesn t average cadence. What do you think?

How is your PT computer set up for cadence information source (Setup 4 - Option 3) and for cadence averaging (Setup 2 - Option 3)?
