Scott Aspen or Specialized Hardrock - views?
Looking to get my first mountain bike having only had a road bike for years. Have seen a used 2005 Scott Aspen, which looks tempting, but I can't find much about Scott (views, comments) on the web. Quite a few people seem to be recommending Specialized. I've decided that a hardtail would be best for my needs, which will be commuting and light off-road use, and want to spend near £300-375. Appreciate any views on the Scotts, and other recommendations - thanks - Jon
