Default Problems with a bike

I am, together with a fellow student, busy with an investigation about bicycles. Now is our question: which problems (as well technically as physical) are you facing when riding a bicycle? What would you liked to seen improved on the bicycle and what do you miss on the bicycle. All reactions are welcome. Greetings, Remco & Huub

Maybe a nice studying issue.... What about gearless shifting on a bike. Like on cars (CVU they call it I belief).
