I'm looking into cranksets and am a bit confused about what makes one better than another. Primarily looking at the Shimano XT, Ritchey WCS, and Truvativ Stylo Team MTB. I have a Jamis Dakar Sport. Any suggestions?

You're best bet is to check out MTBReview. That's what steered me away from a Shimano XT (44-32-22) for a Truvativ Stylo, with raceface ISIS BB. |

Thanks for your reply. I've already looked there as well but didn't find many reviews for anything besides XT. Those reviews are also why I'm soliciting a little more input. How do you like the Truvativ Stylo?

I love it... No creaks, no clunks, no errors. And the ISIS BB is as smooth as butter. Plus it looks pretty cool.... |
