Default Swelling

I'm new to the forum so forgive me if this subject has been dealt with already - I'm an age group Ironman athlete i.e. I spend a reasonable amount of time in the saddle (up to 6.5 hours per ride). For 2-3 years now, I've had permanent enlargement of...ahem...one labium (outer lip). It goes down a little if I take a day or two out of the saddle, but never completely. Sometimes it "throbs" a little too. Does anyone else get this, and if so, what is it, and what do you do about it. My ob-gyn says it's something to do with varioceles and no blood vessel damage, but I want to know if anyone else has experience with this.

Hi i have had something similar- bareback horse riding though. Some serious scar tissue (its a different colour )and enlargement that seems to be permanent. I think its more the inner lip though. I still have feeling in it, doesn't seem to bother me too much. I havent gotten it checked out though, its been like that for a good eight years. I think maybe it has something to do with me not being able to find a comfy saddle but i dont know. Not much help i'm afraid.

Try a Blackwell ISM saddle.
