The New York Times has what appears to be a neat Google Maps hack that shows individual commuters' stories of dealing with the subway/bus/etc. strike. How rad would it be if a bunch of great "I rode to work and loved it!" stories made it on that map? I've only glanced at a few, but at least one was saying how much they enjoyed the exercise of walking to work---a joy that we cycle-commuters are well familiar with. For some background, check this out: http://www.nytimes.com/pages/nyregi...ial3/index.html |
