I do triathlons, short and middle distances. But, I need a lot of advice.
1. When I do a hill climb (6km, 10% av. grad), at the top of the hill I change to a low gear and burn down the hill for 1 km or so and then catch my breath. Is this right way? 2. I am not sure what gears to use. I generally use what feels right, but perhaps I am wasting energy. For example, riding on a flat, no wind, if i slow down 1km/h from 36km/m over a 10km distance, will i save energy for later in the race??? 3. So, any books on "how to ride"?
