Default Looking for a ride in Ashburn VA

Hi All – I recently moved to the Ashburn VA area and am trying to find a club or simply some people interested in getting together on weekends for rides. I’m 42 years old and started riding about 2 years ago after 20+ years as a runner. When I’m fit, I’ll average 18.5 to 19.5 mph over 20 to 40 miles. On Thursday, I road 20 miles on the WOD and averaged 18.0 mph. If you’ve got room for another skinny guy on your weekend ride or if you can recommend a club I would love to hear from you.

Thanks.

Try this link for Potomac Pedalers. http://www.bikepptc.org/

They have a lot of rides in your area. I ride the WO&D but I only average 15-16mph. I am in my mid 50's and 6' 2" at 220 lbs and I just started riding agian in July 05 after 20 years of other sports. Maybe by mid summer I could keep up with you for a while.
