Info on biking in Hawaii?
I'm planning on a cruise late July / early August and one thing I thought would be quite nice is a bike ride around Kilauea volcano. I've already noted the cruise line does have such an excursion, but I thought with the help of people here I might be able to do better. Any thoughts? Good places to rent decent bikes? Group tours offered? I'm in quite good shape (cat 4, ride 10,000 / year) and would appreciate a good road bike for the day. Any info / recommendations feel free to reply here or via a private message.
