Default Zürich - Koblenz - Luxembourg along Rhein and Mosel

Hello.

A friend and I are planning to cycle from Zürich to Koblenz along the river Rhein and then to Luxembourg along the river Mosel. We have never been in that area before, and are not experienced bike tourers. We have a few questions we would like to ask yo guys:

1. Is it nice there?
2. Is it easy to cycle there?
3. where can we find cycle maps over the area?
4. Is it easy to find lodgings along the way?

please tell us if you have any experience with the area or just cycling tours.

thank you.

Hope you speak German...

Here a couple of sites with TONS of links... I will comment on them later.

I live in Luxembourg (don't do bike tours but more regular bike riding and soon racing) and it's a great place for riding. The Mosel valley on the German side (from the Lux border to Koblenz) is real cool but I've never done it on bike. Very picturesque landscape. Good food and wine too (in Lux too btw).

Will post more later.
