Almost want to feel sorry for the guy until I remember that he & his "buisnessmen" errr..."cabinet" have treated the government as thier personal piggy-bank to enrich themselves & the highest income bracket of american's at the expense of everyone else (the other 95%)

i, too must confess to being wrought by moments of pity, as his condition is so pathetic.
however, sadly for him, cluelessness cannot ever equal innocence in such ongoing, long standing and unrepentant criminality, so where does the buck stop, then? oh well, his pr machine will yet again engineer some deceptive event or diversion in attempt to bump approval up to near 50% again, unless the folks who voted for him are beginning to see the light...however, their capacity for being suckered seems boundless. He certainly doesn't deserve pity, even though he's sorry sight. There are no excuses for the incompetence that is currently leading our country.

Your President stopped off in Shannon airport on his outward visit to the Asia - to refuel (the plane that is) and ditto for the return journey.
Even in the middle of the night the man managed to generate a substantial turnout of protesters (good on 'em).

I got no news for you regarding our prez except that he only speaks to pre selected audiences and is heckled and so forth everywhere he goes in public here, also.
It is a sad thing.....the ugly Americans we have become, once again.

The hecklers are always a very small minority. Every President has hecklers wherever he goes. In this country and abroad. I have been at speeches by every President since Nixon and there always is that small group of haggard old women screaming about abortion or womens rights or something. Things that the majority of Americans really don't care about.``` When was the last time do you think a President has given a speech that was not to a pre selected audience? When a President of any party gives a speeech the wording must be very careful. Many things are reliant on what is said. The stock market, other countries, and opposition in the other party are listening closely.

The majority of women in this country do not support the main agenda of the protesters as far as civil rights go. That issue has been settled long ago. Women in America have civil rights. Plus, the issue of civil rights is settled in the courts, not by a few lonely women with nothing to do with their lives but walking around with signs.

Where are you getting this information Many women regard the right to choose as a primary reason to vote democratic. This is a major civil-rights issue among women. I, on the other hand, vote democratic because I detest fascism/neocon-republicanism aka-"kill & reap war profits 1st, then quash all dissent, at a later time; through obfuscation." Notice the explicit inclusion of Sharia law, as a reference in the iraqi constitution,-good-bye womens rights ![]()

There was more guys voting for Bush than you can shake a stick at. Most men were thrilled with his fake machismo and it brought out their baser instincts. The women, for the most part, knew better.

Bush got 48% of the woman vote. That's pretty close. But what does that have to do with talking about women that are activists? And the votes the Dems got from women had very little to do with civil rights for women. Civil rights for women is an issue among the young women, who rarely vote anyway, and some grey haired old ladies with nothing to do but try and live their old activists days. {Maybe recapture some of their youth.} Economics, perception of family values, and education are issues that captured the attention of women voters.
