Default Florence May 2006

I will be traveling to Italy in May. While in I will be renting a road bike and looking for day rides, maybe with a club, for at least one or two days. Not a tour of Florence or Tuscany but a true ride. Any suggestions?

Hi, I'm Paolo I living near Florence I'm a mid age MTB and road cyclist I race same Granfond MTB and road during the year; my team ride mostly on Sunday morning for a 3-4 hours around the Florence's countryside hill.
If you want I hope to organize a ride with you; let me know when you'll be here and where you'll stay.
My team is not a pure racing grup so hour pace is a almost relaxed one.
Are you a racer? do you like a training ride?
Do you know where to rent the bike?
Ciao Paolo

Paolo,
I will be in Florence only May 17-20. Do you ride during the week? I am on road team here. I ride both mountain and road. I am renting a bike from Florence by Bike. Let me know if you are available. We will be staying in center of Florence near Duomo and S.M Novella train station. Thank.
