Default holiday cycling in boston

Hi everyone!

I'll be travelling to boston on may17th, net month,to visit my boyfriend who's studying at berklee.I'll be there till the 19th of June and I WANNA CYCLE while i'm there!Thing is I won't be bringing my road bike up cos it'll be such a hassle. Was thinking if anyone knows any shop that will loan bikes for a day or two?or if there are any cycling tours that I can join. My bf's not much of cyclist so i thinking of touring the city on a scenic bike route. It'd be great if someone could advise me! Thanx!!!

Charles River Wheelman. Also look at my website for
Hanson, MA ride at http://n1ey.netfirms.com/nfblog/?p=56
I do the Sunday CRW rides every week. It is a lot of fun
with great scenery.

I know this post is late, but I'll post it for any readers wondering about Boston area cycling clubs.

There is a group a little north of Boston proper called North Shore Cyclists. The bike mostly in the area 20-25 miles north of Boston, a very nice cycling area. As for loaner bikes, you may do best to contact a local bike shop - they may themselves loan bikes, or will certainly be able to tell you for sure whom to contact for loaner bikes. Good luck.
