Default Any one ridden an INEXA C1?

Long term hunting a semi-serious road bike for 300+ km commute with speed and comfort. Currently belting about on converted MTB on Conti SportContacts.
Dropped into LBS with 3k in mind. They suggested Scott C1 with 105group or INEXA C1! full carbon lugged frame, carbon fork and Ultegra group. Looks sweet and feels light-ish. approx 8kg ready to go!
Aust designed - Taiwan built frame (i think)
(a) does/has anyone own/ed one.
(b) does it look like a good deal - very close to 3k mark.
(c) why is carbon just so damned sexy!!!!

Cheers, DB
