Heya Guys,
I'm just getting started into biking, and have been doing research on which bike I should buy for about 2 weeks now. The bikes that have caught my attention are: Trek 1000 Giant OCR 3 Raleigh Sport - I wuold switch out the rear derailleur Now my only concerns are Steel vs. Aluminum. But I thought the heavier weight might be more able to withstand a saddlebag. (I had originally looked at touring bikes specifically). Once I get comfortable with riding my bike myself and a friend plan to bike to Ottawa (129km away about) so we would need something to store our stuff. Although the other alternative would be to ride with backpacks (which I'm trying to avoid). So please if you can offer any advice for these models or any other, that would be great. Thanks, Twirch |
