Fellow cyclists,
Hello from Hamburg, Germany. I am currently working on the World Cup until July 5 and am organizing a trip to the French Alps to climb a lot of the major TDF climbs in the region (Galibier, Alp d'Huez, Glandon, Croix de Fer, Izoard, etc.) and the Pyrenees (Mt. Vetoux and Tourmalet) from 10 July - 05 August and am looking for riding partners to tackle these climbs. I already have an apartment in Alpe d'Huez for the abovementioned dates (TDF rolls through on 18 July) to use as a "basecamp" and a vehicle to get me to the Pyrenees climbs. If you are going to be in the area during the same time period and require a place to stay or if you are going to be in the area and would like a riding buddy contact me as well. Either way, just looking for some folks to ride with and experience the Alpes. Cheers, Chip |
