Default Riding in Cincinnati suburbs - glendale, sharonville & montgomery areas

I'm accompanying my GF to cincinnati for a couple of weeks and I've decided to use my road bike as primary transportation. Couple people warned me that it is dangerous (or impractical) to ride in that area but they didin't say why. (i guess they're the ones squeeze by a cyclist doing freeway speed).

anyways, i was hoping any cincinnati local riders could give me a few insights or two on riding there, and I'm particularly interested in the riding condition for Kemper road near I275 and I75, because i'll be doing some night miles on that street. I'm flying from los angeles on the 27th.

thanks in advance!
