Has anyone done an organized bike tour (~1 week long) in North America? Where did you go? What company did you use? Were they good? Would you recommend it? Etc...etc...I'm really interested in doing a week long bike tour in mid-to-late August and would really appreciate any suggestions.

Well, you won't see much of North America in a week, even if you were driving a car. I live in Toronto and if I only had a week, I think I would to the area around Niagara Falls. There are lots of bike paths, pretty B&Bs, wineries with tasting rooms, rail trails et al. http://www.infoniagara.com/recreati...lore/index.html You can buy a tour, but I suggests renting a bike and doing a self-ride trip. |

Hi, There is a well reviewed 11 day tour of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. http://www.bcmasterscycling.net/page10.html Airports? Maybe Calgary would work for you or Cranbrook. Our bicyle club seems to endorse it. Regards Wayne |
