I had a great ride to Manly and back last saturday until I hit the steep section of the ramp up to Anzac Bridge where I stripped the thread off the hub where the cog screws on.
I have read previously that stamped cogs dont have particulary good thread. It's apparently true and thats the end of my hub. I can't find a name on the hub and it's a bit of a cheapy. I think I'll buy either some Dura-ace cogs or something similar before I use my other wheels. Cheers Geoff |
