Hey, in general, what is better, Trek or Schwinn?

Not as easy as you think. Depends what you are refering to. I'd give Trek the nod when it comes to frames, but that is only my opinion. Trek also have a wider range of frames to chose from. Both Trek and Schwinn come kitted with Shimano components by default.
In general, I'd say Trek (from a racing roadie point of view).

I've always had better luck with a Trek, but like the other post said, it's mostly the same components unless you go really high or realy low $-wise. IMHO, of course.

Thanks! I bought a 7200 Trek 27 inch wheels. super nice for me. $325. 20 inch frame
