hello, well i was thinking..like me, probably most of you would love to know other places to ride, other trails, other people, other cultures, maybe most of u, like me, dream to ride in another countries. Well but that's sure kinda complicated..there's alot of things in mind..financial problems ..and obvioulsy someone to "guide" us, etc etc etc well, that should have help a lot..
so was thinking, kinda like that "couchsurfing" thing, where people find a free place to stay or people to hang out with while you are traveling. well but adapting that to our bike world.. For instant i'm from Portugal, near a mountain named "Serra Arrabida" very nice to ride a bike, great landscapes, lots of singletracks, etc i love to meet other people, especially from another country..so..i don't mind if someone wanted to get the chance to know/ride this part of my country by bike, well i have plenty of space in my house and the conditions to have someone here as well, and could have someone in my house for a couple of days and me and some friends could show how beautiful this are.. well, your getting my point ? I don't know if this already exists, if someone had this ideia in this foruns or any other, but i think it could be great...well there are some kind of dangerous, i gotta to know first the person. Anyway, i love to meet other people/country/culture, and if someone could be interested in some "exchange" tell me something. what do you people think of this ideia ? take care ![]() EDIT : lol i didn't saw this forum was mainly for cycling and not so much for mtb..bah.
