Question Women's Events

Hi Everyone!

New to this ...

Umm how do I find out where the Women's cycling events are happening? I'm Uk based. I'd lalso like to do some charity rides and stuff like that. Could do Europe ... and need to know where to get the info.

Went out to watch the TDF and really enjoyed it (first time!). Cycled a few cols! So now want to do some charity stuff ... and see some women's events.

Thanks for all the help!

AJ

Just Googled "women's cycling" and found the following site www.ctc.org.uk
They also have a message board (forum) which you can look at that might have some useful information.

No idea how good this lot are, I'm from the other side of the world.

HI there I am new to this myself and thought this might interest you.

I am myself looking into taking part in charity rides and setting myself new challenges. I have found a company that put on bike rides in a range of different places the next one being Cuba. All money raised goes to the women for women charity and the bike ride is only open for women. It seems an excellant adventure and for a very worth while cause. They do many others in differnet locations.

I hope this helps and might be of interst to you, the company is action for charity and all the information is on their web site:

www.actionforcharity.co.uk

Good luck
