Default Ridgeback Day 03 - Any thoughts!?

Hi guys,

New to the forum and very much like many others not new to riding but it has been too long!!

I have joined the Ride to Work scheme, and it is brilliant, effecitvely paying 50% of your bike and then you pay the rest over 12 months!

Anyway my boss has give me a limit of about 600-£800 pounds all on for whatever i want. My commute to work is from Newport-On-Tay to Dundee, which is like 5 miles if that, maybe slightly more into the centre where i work.

I have pretty much decided on a Ridgeback Day 03 - and was wondering if anyone has any real experience or had a shot of one - or knows of any articles/reviews as I cant find any!

Also going to order from Evans cycles as they have been very helpful, and will set it all up if i order to the shop.

Thanks,

David

well, i have a ridgeback - world horizon, which isn't iverly far off that I suppose, and I think it's a generally good bike, not any major problems with it, ahs served me nearly 3000 miles so far in 1 and a half years... I say it's a good choice, but then again, I don't really know whats on the market at the moment.
