Hi again!
I have Background from running. Started with Triathlon a few years ago, training/racing. Get hooked, and have done Triathlons the last three years in age group class and have been competitive. Two years ago, I got some medial pain in right knee and got diagnosed with Medial Plica. Due to a new treatment option with "Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy" I have made to keep training and racing, but it have been limited to Olympic Distance due to the Plica Injury. When starting to increase the training load and/ or running on asphalt the knee got to painful This spring i choosed to have surgery. It is now more than 3 months ago and I`m in doubt if it was to any good because I have started light training again and it seems that my painlevel now has decreased. Is there anyone of the members on this forum which have been through a Plica Surgery and returned to competive sport and have less pain/problems than before the surgery! Grateful for any reply! Thanks & Regards Hwa |
