I decided to post this here so as to get advice for the Irish market. I'm thinking of upgrading my bike (i have an old colnago, bought second hand 3 years ago). I have a budget of €1000 right now, but may wait until the end of the season for a couple of reasons...i'll have more money, and bikes might be on sale.
I've found a few 06 spec Giant bikes for sale via the net ( http://www.cyclesuperstore.ie/shop/...tCnt=50&order=3 ) all under 1k. But i have my heart set on a Cervelo! Any idea of a good bike shop around the east coast? Also, any advice on price i should pay? |

Ok, Cervelo's are proving almost impossible to get! I found a socioist carbon model in Dublin, but i want the R3 (not sure if i can get it with an aluminium frame). So i've decided to keep an open mind as to make! My budget is now 2k, but i wont be purchasing until the winter (hopefully i can get something in the sales!) Anyone any advice?
