After about 2hrs+ hours into a ride, the little toe on my right foot feels like it's about to fall off.
Pain on the scale of 1-10 is about a 7 or 8. It seems like the more I'm out of the saddle during a ride, the more it hurts. I tend to have wider feet, but my left foot never hurts, so i don't think it's that. Ever heard of this? No one I ride with has ever experienced this, so i thought I'd try here. Thanks! Just for reference, I ride X2 SpeedPlay pedals. |

The right foot may be a little wider, or longer. Either of which could cause your pain. Take the insoles out of your shoes and examine the indentations made by your little toe on each foot. See if the right is closer to the lateral edge, or farther out toward the tip of the shoe. You may need to have your right shoe spot stretched over that toe. I make custom orthotics, and very rarely see anyone whose feet are exactly the same size. Find a Certified Pedorthist or Podiatrist in your area who deals with athletes, they will be able to help you.
