I will be in Barcelona the first week in September for a meeting. Given all that I have read about Girona, I would love to travel to Girona for a couple of days to ride in that area during my trip. Unfortunately, most of the organized trips are for a week or so, and I don't have that much free time. First, I am wondering if there are any companies that could arrange a couple of days of riding in Girona and rent decent road bikes?
Alternatively, if there are no organized trips, I would consider travelling on my own. As I will be at the meeting in Barcelona, I really don't want to travel with my own bike. Are there any bike shops in Girona that rent good road bikes ? Where can I get info on good loops to ride in and around Girona ???? Thanks. Lawrence |
