Default Another sad example

Another sad example of the state of Canadian cycling and how badly we fared with these new ranking systems. I had said we woud get fuucked and we did. Canada gets 1 starter just like Cuba and Costa Rica!!!! Iran has SIX STARTERS! Thank you Brian Jolly for looking after Canadian interests at the UCI:

ELITE MEN’S ROAD WORLDS TEAM

August 24, 2006 (Ottawa, ON) – Ryder Hesjedal of Victoria, BC, will represent Canada in the elite men’s road race at the 2006 road world championships on September 24 in Salzburg, Austria. Hesjedal was selected because he qualified Canada for one starter at road worlds through the UCI ProTour individual ranking.

National time trial champion Svein Tuft (Langley BC) will join Hesjedal in the elite men’s individual time trial on September 21.

Alternates for the road race are national road champion Dominique Rollin (Boucherville QC), Michael Barry (residing in Boulder CO), François Parisien (Repentigny QC) and Tuft. Alternate for the time trial is Eric Wohlberg (residing in Sunnyvale CA).

Still no comments?

How screwed up is that?

People are much more concened about me than the fact that Canada has only one rider in the Men's Pro Road race ,the same number of riders as Costa Rica in the Road Worlds? Iran has six riders and Canada has 1 and NOBODY thinks this is a problem? That's how bad things are.

Yet, I'm what people what to complain about?

You morons desreve what you get.

Pitiful.

Still no concern about the important stuff?

Still no concern about cycling?

Just the personal attacks and lies from anonymous, faceless, cowards. Do you think they carry much weight?

Par for the course! That why the sport is hurting so much in Canada., because of little peckers like you.

Iran 6
Canada 1
