I just decided to volunteer for a ride around here much like Lance Armstrong's "Ride for the Roses" and was told that they were hoping for a big showing of people but so far things were not looking good so I decided I'd bring it to the attention of everyone here at Cycling Forums in case anyone in the area was interested.
A local professional cyclist, Brian King, has been cycling over the past 22 weeks to try to raise money to support a local cancer center. The finale to this fund raiser is a 3 mile fun ride and a 50 mile ride for those of you who are interested in it. If you live in or around New Hampshire and are interested, they are desperately looking for more riders to show up. More info below: http://www.concordhospital.org/give/pedforpen.php |
