hey all,
looking to replace my stock spring on my 04 kona coiler as im a bit heavier than the average fellow i weigh about 16 stone//224 pounds and the stock spring is a 450lb fox spring with 2.3 printed on the side, and the rear shock itself is a fox vanilla rc and the bike has 5inches rear travel. i was looking at a stendec spring with a 700 pound weight, and a measurment of 2.25 (which at a push im guessing is stroke length?) this being the heaviest spring i could find that had a similar length on it. was wondering if u guys could pass any advice as to what weight spring would be most suited for my weight, and wether these springs are any good. cheers in advance |
