Default klein fervor

just bought fed klein fervor with non working front shocks.
go down but not back up.
any advice as to repair or replacement? i am newbie. thanks.

How old is it? I did a quick google search and it seems its a mid 90' bike.
For your forks, my guess is that they are a elastomer set up, and the reson why they do not come back up is becasue the little rubber elastomers inside them have lost all their nitrogen bubbles. In eithercase, see if you can track down a new fork. I think your steerer (the tube that comes from the forks, through the frame and connects to the handlebars) is of the threaded sort (dont hold it too me) so make sure when your fork hunting, that the fork has the right steerer diameter and that it is threaded as its not "one size fits all". Older Manitou Forks will have the smaller steerers as do older Rock Shox (Judy, Indy etc).

Im only judging by internet pics here.
