I'd really like to write a letter in to the newsdesk, but would need some more information. I would like to call for the toughening of laws to protect cyclists, but need some more knowledge of overseas laws. How does Holland's work? I've heard that it goes something along the lines of "the car driver is always at fault". Have they worked? Also, how does New Zealand stack up compared in terms of accidents with other countries?

I reckon what we need here is large green sections painted on the road, so its illegal for a car, bus or motor bike to enter these, ie Bike Lanes like bus lanes, and a blitz by coppers: Don't get busted in a bike lane.
