The CCA posted this on their web site:
2007 UCI Road Team Registration Courtesy CCA Please note that the registration period for 2007 UCI Road Teams is open until December 20, 2006. Teams who wish to register as a UCI Road Team for the 2007 season must send a letter of intent (electronic copy accepted) by October 27, 2006, at the latest, to the CCA office, attention Competition Coordinator Mr. Rémi Bérubé (competition@canadian-cycling.com). All documents (electronic version only) will be forwarded upon receiving the letter of intent to the teams concerned. Like there will be any new Canadian teams added to the UCI list! Gimme a break. Thx to the Canadian Cycling Association and its former President Bill Kinash the sport is in the shitter here and will be for years. An atmosphere of mediocrity and even failure totally pervades the environment of the sport witnessed by Road World Championship team member Sue Palmer-Komar, pleased about her 75th placed performance recently in Salzburg. What a disgrace. |
