My wife and I are heading to Barcelona next spring and were thinking about staying around Gerona for 2 weeks in the middle of May. I know that there are many pros living in the region, but just wondering if anyone can tell me if there are good rides right from the city without having to drive. I have spent a lot of time in the Luberon region of France and we are used to long rides on amazing roads with little or no traffic. However, when I look at the Michelin maps of the Gerona area there does not appear to be as many small white (regional) roads and the yellow ones tend to be busier in some parts of France.
Any help would be appreciated. bob |
