I'm sorry if this has already been addressed elsewhere, but is there no system in place to prevent dodgy marketeers from taking over the group with inappropriate postings? We've got'em going back 2 weeks or more, now.

The report spam does work at banning the spammer with that screen name. They just sign up again with another name unfortunately.
I still think the best way is to close the doors to new members for a while - 2 weeks. The spammers will move on and we'll hopefully have a break from them for a while. |

Probably wouldn't even need to be 2 weeks, maybe as little as 48-72 hours would do the trick.
