Is there any way to show cadence when your actually cycling?-In the user guide only power seems to be available in the alternative views.

Yes, but only on the top display of the screen. Use the RHS bottom button to select what you want on the middle display, then select the top display with the RHS top button.
If it doesn;t show Cad 00, you need to turn the cadence on through the bike settings for the bike you are riding.
