Default Boxing Day rides in Perth

Anyone know of any Boxing Day traditional rides in Perth? Round the River or Northern suburbs preferably. And given the likely excesses of the previous day, not too fast eh?

For the past few years, there has been a ride
-departing from BikeForce Woodvale at the Woodvale Shops (on Trappers Drive in Woodvale) at about 6:30 am (ring the shop to confirm start time)
begins with maybe 30-40 dudes
- goes to BikeForce Subiaco, meets another 40 or so...
- heads up West Coast Hwy to Quinns Rocks (last time it did anyway)
The pace is very sedate in order to burn fat, not glucose. If a fat bastard like me can hang on till the end, it aint exactly a team Trial

Hey that sounds like just what I'm looking for. The only aspect that mightn't work for me is the 6:30 start. I'm temporarily a single parent this Christmas (wife gone back to Europe for a family wedding) and that would probably be a bit early to ask a babysitter to come around...but I'll work out something. Thanks for that.

Thanks for the info.

Is there anything south of the river, Freo, maybe? I'm out at Willigee / Kardinya.

Give Bike Force Freo a ring on 08 9433 6877. On a Saturday morning, there are several group rides departing from here. They may have something Boxing Day...

This is taken direct from Bikeforce website.

Annual Boxing Day Ride – Bike Force Subiaco.

Join the team for the Annual Boxing Day Ride, departing 7.30am from Bike Force Subiaco, 356 Rokeby Road, Tuesday 26 December. All welcome. Distance is approximately 80kms, conducted at a steady pace to help you work off the Christmas pudding.

It could be worse - you could have Alannah MacTiernan nose!
