I have put together a site with more than 100 road cycling routes on quiet and often hilly roads from Mt Shasta in the North to Anza Borrego in the South. Every sections has a description, map and elevation. There are also hundreds of photos of the roads and the surrounding landscape.
So if you are just looking for some new routes for training or plan a cycling vacation in California, have a look and check it out: http://CyclingCalifornia.Com Enjoy and happy cycling in 2007, Andreas |

I am joining a group doing a 1000 mile fundraising trek from Bremerton WA to SF (but won't be able to finish as school starts at the end of the journey) and don't even own a bike yet. It's good motivation to know one can begin training in beautiful areas around here. I bookmarked your site!
thanks for the feedback. Actually not, most of the riding and all the photo shooting I did in 2006. I took some long weekends in the summer and a week vacation in fall for the out of (the Bay) area trips. Andreas[/QUOTE] |
