Hi all,
My mother and I are planning to ride across Finland in (northern) summer this year. We are both strictly amatuer cyclists, and haven't attempted anything on this scale before. (We will be taking our time - just doing 60 or so ks a day) Just checking to see if anyone has ridden in Finland before, or can throw a bit of general advice my way. Thanks in advance! |

Cannot help you with details, but you may want to check out the Finland tourism agency website, it is well done and has a large cycling section that can surely be of help. All the best!

Hi Nils. I'm finninsh, but unfortunately, haven't done any touring in Northern parts, but some recretional rides. Anyway, there's few resources in english, where you can pick up some info
here, here and here. There are some terrific scenery and routes up there. If you need some more specific info, don't hesitate to pm or email me, Cheers, markus |
