Default Whats the best bike i can buy for £1,500?

Been riding for just over a year, first bike is nothing special. I want to move up and invest a little more cash, approx £1,500. So maybe move on and try some races...

Hmmm...heaps of bikes:
- Specialized Tarmac Comp
- Giant TCR C3
- Cannondale CAAD 9 (105)
- Cannondale Synapse
..........

That price will get you something very nice. If you're going to be racing, good wheels will be important. Go to your LBS, have a chat to them, do some more research...then enjoy the test rides!

The best advice I can give you is, get all the input you can from experienced riders, do all the research that you can...but in the end, this is your decision. Take all advice on board, educate yourself...then make the call.

Evans Cycles have the 06 Trek Madone 5.2 discounted to just under £ 1,500. I can't think of a better bike for the money (IMHO).
