Default Veloflex records or Continental GP Supersonics?

both weight in the 140 gram range and are race only due to very fast wear & high puncture rate. any preference?

Veloflex has a better puncture resistance; harder outer rubber and a kevlar puncture resistance belt.
Don't know about differences in rolling resistance - Supersonic is tested to be very fast, in tests which didn't include Veloflex.
I don't dare to use my Supersonics in important races any longer - gets to many cuts - I trust Veloflex.

Get the Veloflex. I forgot to bring my training wheels on a three day trip to Malta. Completely ruined my Conti rubbers. I had 13 flats in 2.5 days of riding. I've ridden there before with other brands without any problems.

Conmtis from experience and years in the business have been pretty bad. Almsot every customer I have always slices them and many cannot even get 3-5k miles out of them. To me it is a waste of money when you pay lots of money as BikeMine is forcing all dealers to price fix and then make a product that many times will not last 2-3 months.

I'm going to have to go against the grain here. I've raced on Continental Grand Prix for years and there are great. They stick better than any other tire. It is true, however, that the puncture resistance sucks. It's really bad on the sidewalls and any small pothole or rock is a potential flat. That's the only thing I gripe about with these tires.
