Just looked at a 1998 Lemond Alpe d' Huez with Compagnolo Mirage Components, Aero Bars, No pedals for $350.00. Bought in 98 for $1100.00. There is no rust or dings on the bike. It looks to be in perfect condition. COMMENTS? Is this a good buy? I need to move fast as the lady wants to put it on e-bay soon. She originally wanted $500.00 but I talked her down to $350.00. What do you all think?

Sounds like a fair deal. I don't know about 1998 models, but the current models steel frames are among the best made. I would venture to say a '98 Alpe d'Huez for $350 is a very good buy. |
