Is a Gt Chucker any good?

Default Is a Gt Chucker any good?

Hey im new to the forums and im looking to but a new bike around the $500 area, i know its not much but its all i can afford atm. Im looking at a gt chucker 3.0 heres ther store im looking at.

It says its a 3.0 for $580 but the pic looks like its a 1.0 can any1 confirm this?

Also any suggestions on a mountain bike that i can use on dirt jumps would be helpful.

The Chucker is probably the best value for the buck...solid frame, good build...

...My wife has a Fuji Panic Pro, but it's a bit more $

That fuji looks like a great bike, i can't find any in australia though.
