Hi all,
First question here & it's not a good one (for me, at least). I've just purchased a bicycle, it's the first in several years. I've been out on it twice now, once yesterday & once today. Each trip lasted just under half an hour & was 8 miles in length (please don't laugh ).Both times when I get home I've had a splitting headache, a feeling of pressure in my ears, like you get when you're flying in a plane & eyes that look so rough it looks like I've supped the pub dry. What could be causing this? Helment too tight? Poor breathing? Anyone else suffered anything like this? Last edited by John. : 26-05.-2007 at 05:50 AM. |

My advice for just starting out is that you aren't as young as you used to be... so hasten slowly. Overdoing it can easily lead to burnout and injury. Easy rides no more than three times a week for the first month. Push it occasionally if you're feeing good, but allow yourself a couple of easier days afterwards for recovery.

the teeth on front sprocket wear too much (a trek 7.3 characteristic)
marine climate in summer causes corrosion of chain due to sprocket wear so you get metal in your fibula from bone strain this leads to spinal meninge dehydration so the sodium potassium pumps are overworked this causes poor fluid retention in the sinus of the face so... the remedy: eat some beer with hops in it (1 tablespoon) Jacob Vickery ![]() |
