I got up around 6:30 this morning had a bowl of whole grain Life Cereal with Soymilk, one slice of whole wheat bread and 12 ounces of PowerBar Endurance sports drink. At 8:30 AM I began my ride total distant 21.03 miles. During my ride was drinking the endurance drink halfway through the ride my group made a stop and my stomach went crazy broke into a sweat and almost lost it. I then drank about 6oz of water but still fell like crap. After about fifteen minutes my stomach fell good enough to finish the second half of my ride. When I got home my stomach went crazy again until I ran to the bath room to do number 2 and that helped, but still after a few hours after that my stomach is making noises. My fellow riders are saying that PowerBar Endurance drink was the cause but I have never had the problem before. This is the first contain I have used and I have used half of it without any problems. Or do you think it was the breakfast? I am just starting after about two years.
