Default I'm older than you guys, but I have a question.

When I was a kid, I rode my bike to school from fifth grade on. However, I have heard that most school districts forbid kids to ride to school. (And then they wonder why more and more kids are fat! This goes to show you that adults aren't necessarily smart, and growing up doesn't mean that you learn all the answers.)

Question--how many of you ride to school? How many of those who do not are in school systems that forbid, or discourage, it? If you were allowed, would you? Have you tried to get the school authorities to change the rule? If so, how? Did it work?

Yeah i ride to school, my college allows it. But all the primary schools in the area (5) disallow. I don't know why. If a parent lets a kid ride, let 'em ride. Trying to talk to schools doesn't work. It seems as if your always at the back of the line.

I don't ride to school, but we can and there are a slight few who do. But with cars and that, there isn't really a need to.

I ride almost every day. Biking to school is so fun! Me and about 5 other friends all ride together. Theres a ton of jumps, trails, amd singletrack around are school area. In my opinion , More people should ride to school.
